Painting A Positive Life Image
Posted on August 24, 2010 · Leave a CommentA Positive Life Image is something that you can only paint with your life.
We can see a lot of the negativity in this world it seems more often then not. The internet reflects it, television reflects it, but that’s not all that this world is about. We have to protect ourselves and protect our children from being exposed to only the negative in this world. It will take a conscious effort on our part to bring positivity into our homes, into our apartments and into our minds. Especially living here in Golden, Colorado, there is a lot of good that goes on but who is promoting that? We can easily see the negative.
Ask yourself: “Am I positive enough to be promoted?” “Does my message and philosophy about life add value to my environment?” “What type of qualities do others admire about me?” “In the future how will I measure my satisfaction and success?”
These are simply questions that will get your mind turning in a positive direction. Summit View Village Apartments could use the positivity, Golden, Colorado and all of America could use more positive messages. Turn off the news for a couple of days eat dinner with the family and afterwards read a book. That will help to paint a more positive life images.
We just felt like we needed to say that. But remember this a Positive Life Image is something that you can only paint with your life.

Applying for College Scholarships and Grants In-State Colorado
Posted on August 19, 2010 · Leave a CommentCollage Aid in Colorado
Wouldn’t it be easier to go through your college years with more money? Of course it would! I know that one of the biggest issues for me in college has been the finances. But I wasn’t aware of all of the scholarships and grants that are available today.
In-State College Scholarships
Most states including Colorado would like to keep more of the in-state academic talent in the state. The value that comes with an in-state Colorado college student who graduates in-state and continues to work and live in the state of Colorado can’t really be compared to another type of student. That same thing is honored all over America.
Student Living in Golden
With so many colleges and universities around Golden alone the temptation to stay is very great. All of these factors make Summit View Village Apartments in Golden so appealing. But this blog post is not a shameless self plug it’s more of a resource to a wealth of college grants and scholarships.
The most scholarships and grants become available for high school students and the best time of the year to apply is in the summer, before you go back to school BUT, that doesn’t speak for all of them. Visit CollegeScholarships.org and be prepared. You never know what you don’t qualify for until you apply.

Eat Breakfast With Communication Leaders Friday Morning
Posted on August 18, 2010 · Leave a CommentLeadership Breakfast
There has been a debate going on to tell whether leadership is something that people are born with or if it’s a skill that is developed. Either way, to enhance your abilities as a leader on purpose you have to practice.
If leadership is a characteristic that is received at birth then what would happen if that talent were never developed? Would it be possible to become a greater leader by neglecting our natural talents? I think not. Most of us here at Summit View Village Apartments feel the same way.
That is why I wanted to inform you of the Leadership Breakfast from 7:30am to 9:00am on Friday August 20th. this breakfast is at Wheat Ridge Recreation Center and the cover charge is $15. This breakfast will focus on communication skills for leaders in today’s cutting edge business world.

The Mountain Mex of Colorado’s Mexican Food with a Twist
Posted on August 7, 2010 · Leave a CommentHacienda Colorado: Things are bound to get rocky when you mess with Mexican Food!
If you can pronounce Hacienda correctly on the first time you should at lease win 20% off of your meal. I personally have not yet had a meal at this restaurant but I have heard some outstanding things about them. You can probalby imagin that with a coined phrase such as Mountain Mex that things could get a little Rocky.
Hacienda Colorado has taken a traditional style of Mexican Food and mountaineered it into something totally outside of what you can expect. I can’t wait to bite into what they have prepared. The scene is set for you to dress up or down carry out or dine in. Whatever your preference it won’t hinder you from any of the 120 tequilas they offer nor their different signature sauces or leisure atmosphere.
